Do you live in or near the Waco, Texas metro area? Then I’m happy to welcome you to my private, nurturing, and comfortable coaching space!
In-person coaching clients get the unique experience of face-to-face trauma coaching or consultation. Sessions are individually tailored to the unique qualities of the client. Sessions may include verbal processing, psychoeducation and complimentary healing modalities. While these sessions are available virtually, in-person appointments can be uniquely impactful and are highly recommended!
While I open my practice to individuals from all walks of life, I specialize in holistic trauma and abuse recovery. My experience spans many types of traumatic experiences, including unresolved childhood trauma, spiritual/religious trauma and deconstruction, domestic violence, sexual abuse and assault, narcissistic abuse/coercive control, non-physical forms of institutional and relational abuse, and intergenerational trauma.
Together, we can make sense of what has happened to you and heal the collateral damage of your trauma. We’ll break down and rebuild each dimension of your identity to find your most aligned and authentic self. Trauma is what happened to you, healing is what you choose to do moving forward.
Similar to a personal consultation, 1:1 healing day retreats are designed to help you jumpstart your journmey to better mental and spiritual wellness.
Individual day-long retreats are typically conducted in-person, however virtual options are available!
In-person retreats include intention setting for the retreat, an intensive consultation to analyze current mental health and trauma history, a nutritious shared lunch, and a wide variety of healing modalities, including reiki, sound bath, hypnosis, guided meditation, journaling, and more.
In order to book a full-day retreat, you must have at least one coaching session prior to your retreat so that Dr. Church can determine the best healing modalities to use for your personalized plan.
“Over the years I have seen my share—or perhaps more than my share—of counselors, therapists and similar practitioners. Emma Church has been my favorite. She was extremely personable and warm. From the beginning, things were comfortable. We seemed to skip the awkward phase at the beginning of therapy and move right into connection. Best of all, Dr. Church eliminates the power dynamics that too often plague traditional behavioral and mental health practitioners. Hers is a space of warmth, collaboration, and empowerment. Not cold, clinical, strictures of “the learned Doctor” and the “infirmed patient”. I came to Dr. Church through word of mouth, because friends were praising their therapeutic experiences with her, and I wish to do the same. If you’re looking for an empowering partner along your journey, you have found her.”
